Healthy salad dressings are on the menu today! If you have had much time to look around my site you know that I’m a little in love with salads. Wilted Salad with Mango and Whole Grains, Kale and Quinoa Salad, Forbidden Rice and Broccoli Salad, Wilted Spinach Salad with Strawberries and Goat Cheese, I seriously love them all! Salads are a fantastic way to get optimum nutrition with very little prep time.
Green salads, in particular, have a special place in my heart. They make a fabulous fall back plan on busy days. It is important though, to use the right kinds of dressings. Store bought dressings usually have artificial ingredients that are not in any way healthy. Thankfully, making your own is quick, easy and absolutely delicious! I have two to share with you today. One easy kitchen hack I’ve learned over the years is to make my salad dressings in a jar. All you do is combine all the ingredients and give it a good shake. This makes healthy salad dressings easy to make and easy to store. Totally a win-win in my book!
