These Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies are the things dreams are made of. Do you sometimes just want a yummy, yummy treat? Me too! However, the problem with most treats is they leave you feeling yucky, not yummyΒ after you eat them. These Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies don’t do that. They are made with real ingredients that you can pronounce! They are even fantastic when you switch the flour to whole wheat. While this is not a treat I would have every day when you want something yummy, this one hits the spot.

All of the ingredients are clean and free of chemicals. There are no artificial flavors or colors. Sometimes the benefits they give to the soul are exactly what you need (like in some Chicken Chowder). As long as you use real, organic ingredients you are just fine. The right kind of chocolate can even be healthy!

A few quick notes: Use real butter NOT margarine! Not only would it completely ruin the flavor of the cookies but margarine is not at all good to eat. Butter, on the other hand, is a healthy fat and very good for you. When using white flour make sure it’s unbleached and unbromated to avoid harmful chemicals. Now, on to these Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies!
