Thanksgiving recipes (side dishes in particular) are some of my very favorites! The holiday is quickly approaching and it’s best to be prepared ahead of time.

One of the best things about Thanksgiving side dishes is that you can add so much nutrition to your feast. I love simple sides that are easy to make and leave your taste buds dancing.

I am a firm believer (and my training as a health coach backs me up) that eating healthy shouldn’t be hard or complicated. As a matter of fact, the more simple and easy to apply the more likely you are to stay motivated and see the results you want. A healthy lifestyle is really about balance more than anything.

All of my recipes reflect this belief and approach. These delicious Roasted Beets with Goat Cheese are no exception. You will find this recipe (along with many others) in my Healthier Holidays Recipe Book! It’s full of comforting classics with a healthy twist. The perfect way to enjoy the holidays, don’t you think?
